Student Leader

I serve as the volunteer Student Leader here at North Park. We call the Student Ministry, "Uth" - a goofy way to spell "Youth" and a way to catch the eye. Uth Ministry is for all students grades 6 through 12.

Student Ministry has been the most wonderful, meaningful, and rewarding experience in my Christian walk. I am truly honored to be the "Uth Guy" at North Park and am thrilled to have the privilege of working with students. I have served as the Student Leader at North Park for the past 8 years.

I grew up in central Virginia where my parents were active members in Baptist Churches. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 9 years old and was baptized shortly thereafter. After some rebellious teenage years, I returned to Christ as Lord of my life.

I've been married over 25 years to Trish, a Speech-Language Pathologist with Orange County Public Schools. Our daughter, Heather, is a 6th grade Mathematics Teacher in Orange County Public Schools. I served six years in the US Air Force, living in Mississippi, New York, and South Dakota - where my daughter was born. After returning to Florida, I have worked in the fields of audio, video, fire and security, wireless telecommunications, and software quality assurance. I currently work as a Director of Operations for a local Technology Company.
