Mission, Values, & Vision

Our Mission

We exist to glorify God by helping people trust and follow Christ through worship, community, and mission. 

Our mission is rooted in the great commission where Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, ESV). 

We gather each week for worship and community and then scatter for mission.

Our Core Values 

  • Gospel-Fueled Worship

    • We are made to worship God. We are a people who love God and His Word, the Bible. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your sould and with all your mind." (Matt. 22:37, ESV) We believe the gospel transforms people into true worshippers (John 4:23) who love God with all their heart, mind, and soul.

    • We seek point others to Jesus by living lives that show we worship and honor Him. We gather each week to worship as a faith family where people are equipped to live lives of gospel-fueled worship.

  • Gospel-Shaped Community

    • We are made for community. Jesus taught said the way people will know we are His would be by our love for one another. We believe the gospel tranforms us into a new people who are made one in Christ. In community we serve one another, we serve others togeter, we encourage one another, and we stir one another to greater love and good deeds. We can do better together. 

    • We seek to point people to Christ by showing them what true community and love others looks like. We invite them into not only a relationship with God, but with His people, the family of God.  

  • Gospel-Advancing Mission

    • We are made for mission. It's been said "God's church doesn't have a mission, God's mission has a church." Jesus said the second greatest commandment is that we love our neighobr as ourself. We believe the gospel tranforms us into a people who loves our neighbor because we've been loved and we embrace the misson of God in this world.

    • We seek to point people to Christ by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with peopel lovingly and boldly. We want to see every believer at North Park actively sharing their faith. 

Our Vision

To be a catalyst for gospel transformation in Baldwin Park and greater Orlando.
 

  • The gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is the message of His life, death, and resurrection. We believe the gospel is the greatest news on the planet. It's the declaration of what's been done by Christ for sinners. We believe this news can change the lives of people in our community.

  • We believe God has placed us in Baldwin Park, in Orlando on purpose and with a purpose. We are striving to bring the gospel to bear on every part our lives and to share the gospel with our neighbors. As we see the Good News of Jesus impact lives in Baldwin Park and Greater Orlando, we believe will see lives tranformed for God's glory. Eternities will be forever changed. Relationships can be restored. Addicts will be set free. The hurting will be comforted. The hopeless will have hope. The faithless will have faith. Those uninterested in God will find Him to be their greatest treasure. The gospel changes everything.
